The Vacancy
We are seeking an experienced Operational Account Manager to join our Metering Support Services team. This is a client-facing, commercially focused role, centred on managing contracted service delivery, supplier performance, and long-term customer relationships within the energy and metering sector.
It is focused on account management, operational governance, and contract performance, working across field services, compliance, finance, and regulatory teams to ensure obligations are met and opportunities for growth are identified.
You will act as the single point of ownership for your client accounts, ensuring services are delivered in line with contractual KPIs, regulatory requirements, and agreed commercial outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Be the primary contact for your clients, managing day-to-day queries and ensuring expectations are met.
Monitor supplier performance and lead governance activities to maintain high service standards.
Spot opportunities to grow accounts and align services with client goals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and operational efficiency.
Prepare client reports, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
About You
Strong background in account management or service delivery.
Proven ability to manage high-value client relationships and deliver operational improvements.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Comfortable with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI) and interpreting KPIs.
Knowledge of the energy industry, regulations, and best practices for client satisfaction and retention.
